I don't want to get into a long discussion on politics but as Canadians we see the current US administration as someone that does not respect existing agreements, is no longer a trusted partner, lacks a coherent and well laid out foreign strategy, promotes the politics of division internally and externally, lack geo-political knowledge of other parts of the world and frankly has lost the moral high ground to be "the" example of democracy given the high degree of corruption and lack of leadership.

I do not think I have heard of a US president being laugh at before by foreign leaders and it was not just one leader doing so.

The rise of populism world wide show that we do not hold our leaders and those that want to be leaders to a high enough standard.

When I was travelling on business during the last election a lot of people were complaining about the lack of a real choice. It looks like it will be that way again.
