Norman, glad to have you on board. Here are some food for thought opinions of mine......

Check out the site I listed last night over the weekend I think it may give you additional insight.

Also, some time ago I posted a Massachusetts Institute of Technology
web site which deals with Internet Telephony. Be prepared for competition, it will be there. However, since this is a huge market (ie local phones in US is about 100 Billion) I have the opinion that we may be okay. Does anybody know the figure for worldwide long distance market? It should be much bigger than US Local. I almost fell compelled to go back and put 100 Billion in all caps as it is big, isn't it? Just think this is only one piece of the pie....

By the way, at the M.I.T. site there was a spot a couple of months ago which I believe (going from memory) indicated by the year 2010 the phone service we have now would be <10% of the market as the other 90% would likely go through the net. If I am remembering the information
correctly it was from Newbridge Networks. At M.I.T. site check out Andrew Sears' home page as it may be there.

These figures would mean billions of dollars being spent on sheer implementation to get into this market. This is not likely to become a reality UNLESS the technology of POT to POT (like I believe FTEL has) is used. Most people have phones but most do not have home computers. Worse than that are the clarity problems and I understand the FTEL solution has exceptional clarity. Looking at the world's population I think we are positioned quite well for the short haul and the long haul.

Again just ONE part of the plan. The total protrait is even better.
The more I think about this the bigger my smile gets!

Just my opinions ..... have a wonderful weekend!

Regards,

Debra Watson
