Indeed, the polls are meant to SHAPE public opinion! That is so obvious when one of the Fox talking heads talks about them. They give zero disclaimers about who was polled or where. They just make their pronouncements. For example: Brilliant Biden is 92% ahead of Trailing Trump and Sure to win by a landslide, so don't bother to vote for TT - well maybe that is a bit of exaggeration. :)
