I am long on Fonar (have been for some time) and I am comfortable with the present trends. Nobody likes to see shares that they hold go down in price, and the knee jerk reaction is to blame management. The reality is that the market is fickle and often illogical and if management spends its time worrying about the share price little else will ever be accomplished. As I have both a technical background and some medical knowledge, an admission that there are "bugs" in any new piece of equipment as complex as an MRI machine comes as no surprise. In fact if I was told that there were no "bugs" I would be extremenly sceptical. It is always better to admit an imperfection, fix it, and then sell a good product rather than try to paper over a problem and ruin your customer relationships for ever. Many companies simply deny there is any problem even to the customers who have paid them good money for what turns out to be a faulty machine. Fonar's honest approach will win in the end but Wall Street may punish the price occasionally; they are not used to honesty in that part of town!
