I agree with you about peer, but for a different reason. In the classic sense, I believe a peer is one of noble birth, usually with a kinship to a country's ruler - those above the peasant and yeoman classes. In the modern sense, it is one of similar accomplishments in a trade or profession, usually at the most advanced levels.

Oh, and bolt? It can be a short metal arrow fired by a crossbow. Hence, "A bolt from the blue".

...just a couple of things. I see more, but will let it go with these.
