Lower State Taxes? Mario Cuomo was governor for 3 terms. George Patake, a moderate Republican, was governor for 2 terms and Andrew Cuomo was governor for 2 terms. That's 7 terms or 28 years and I don't recall any proposal to lower taxes. Our Mayors constantly raise taxes, whether it is Bloomberg, Diblasio, Dinkins or Giulianni.
