Besides, if you have to pay an extra $18K/year under Trump because of SALT, you are either FOS or you are making over $600K/year, assuming you're paying an effective NY state income tax rate of 8%.Given your reputation on this thread, I don't think you're making over $600K/year ...


Do you know what the SALT taxes are? They include state income tax, school taxes, town property taxes, ie state and local taxes.......I didn't say I had to pay an extra 18K, I said I lost 18K in deductions.. By Trump's law we are only allowed 10K max deductions.......
