Frosty, Vivus is testing 14.5-14.7, several times last 4-5 trading days. The volume is low. It doesn't look like there is a throng of sellers out there.Vivus longs are staying put by and large. Volume is only 75% +/- of usual. So at this rate of available sellers, if I were a short, I would be asking myself the question: " were do I find 9 million shares to cover between now and Friday? Is it possible that 9 mill shorts will try and cover Fri at 1530, the last 1/2 hour? And if so what will that do to Vivus price? Well, it is also possible that Vivus shorts are afflicted by the same disease that has afflicted millions of stockholders before: it's the dreaded " hold on to your looser hoping for better times" syndrome. We've all done that. Monday we'll know better. TA
