john, as i told you before, you do not know what you are talking about.>> all scientists who believe evolution is true are not true scientists, since evolution has never been validated in any respect>> you keep talking about "evolution", yet you never define what do you mean by that word. for example, you have evolved into a man after having been a boy (i hope you are and yuo were). evolution is often used in contrast to "revolution", or dramatic events. if you are trying to talk about biological evolution, as in evolution of species, the are laboratory experiments (experiments have been performed, and cheked etc) on, for example, bacteria, flies, etc. that conclusively demonstrate genetic mutations propagated and accumulated through generations until eventually new speces are produced. it also has happened in nature in the last 60 years, for example we now have bacteria resistant to penicilin thatwere not 60 years ago.
now, historical evolution of species is not subject to an experiment as any other historical developement (can't go back and change something). yet, even in historical (archaelogical and paleontalogical) material traces of genetic material have been obtained that show evidence supportive of historical evolution. there are many other examples. i am not trying to post here that everithing is known in that field in complete detail, but the point is that the questions remaining are of detail and of specific mechanisms of how evolution occurs, there is no question that it does occur.

ps Sagan is OK, but he's no great scientist. |
