With the sales of iPhones paramount to Apple and the fact it can double as a music player, Apple is phasing out the iPod. They still sell them, but nothing compared to the phones.

You can also take other older iPods (not just the Classic) and put large SD cards in them.

As I've noted in this thread before, here's a company that sells the adapters and parts to allow memory cards to be used with them. You'll find all you need at:
