sure, i'll try, i missed out on TSLA & dont currently have ability to get into it, but noticed GZ mentioning it very recently & seem to recall several people here trading it a few months back, sounds like that was you...

just read your post about later July early August This board is a main source of where i rely on getting a clue on overall market w/o spending too much of my research time on it. Really appreciate GZ's efforts too.

as for Workhorse, a little more like you asked (w/ the standard caveat of "just my opinions")

- they are getting at least a good part of the USPS contract, it's all But official, i think this is why price run is crazy lately
- USPS is slowly planning & building an EV charging infrastructure
- USPS employees have been told they are getting electric trucks (some new gas trucks still needed too)
- only 3 companies left still putting in bids, of those only WKHS is all electric
- July 14 is RFP deadline (request for proposal? i think it stands for?)
- many seem to think contract to be awarded that day (either Robinhooder types? or i may be the fool?) contract award may take several more weeks? maybe even 2 months? or could happen very fast if i'm the fool here?
- after 7/14 may be the time to look for a dip ?? or it may go to 25-30 before dipping? who knows? Monday may be telling?
- Workhorse developed the LMC 4 door pickup truck as a by-product of the USPS project, they both are built on the exact same chassis (i've heard it being called a "skateboard" but chassis is the word i know)
- it was licensed out to LMC in exchange for a royalty fee & the 10% stake in LMC That stake was valued
at $1B by wall street analysts (dont much care for them, but thats the source of the estimate)
- GM sold LMC the 6 million+ s.f. manufacturing plant for chump change, only $40 million (i dont know & wont speculate on what may or may not be gping on or have occurred there behind the scenes)
- the plant needs re-tooling for full blown EV production, cost estimate is $400mm (a "funding secured" type msg got out, idk any details) production capacity is estimated to be 600,000 EVs annually (GM had a 400k vehicle limit there when they ran that plant) 2022 i think is the time frame goal to complete re-tooling. LMC sold out all 2021 Endurance pickup truck production to commercial fleet customers.
- USPS vehicle likely to be built at the Lordstown plant
- there is also prototypes built of a standard size Van, Also on the Same chassis as the USPS vehicle (just like the pickup truck) this is where the 600k vehicle future production capacity of Lordsrown plant can be easily seen possible, perhaps rinning 3 shifts/day ?
- GM is building a $2B EV battery plant together w/ LG (the Korean battery cell manufacturor) in Lordstown Ohio, right smack next door to the LMC plant
- Workhorse has very limited production capacity for the large "last mile delivery" vans for UPS, DHL, FDX, i don't know how they plan to meet demand that may be worldwide? Guessing either some creative royaltees type deal like the pickup truck, or maybe this is where competition steps in down the road?

here's pics of standard size van prototype built on same chassis as USPS vehicle & pickup (oh, i forgot, they are All 4 wheel drive w/ 4 moving parts, some sorta setup w/ electric motor / wheel hub.)
