While I agree that this sector should see bottom sometime soon(if it hasn't already occurred) I think this sector could benefit from AMAT meeting/beating their estimates and reiterating their eps guidance going forward. Right now, First Call eps mean for AMAT is $1.96 while AMAT guidance is $2.08-$2.15. Clearly the street does not believe AMAT will meet these #'s since, at a price of 32, this yields a p/e of ~ 14 for this year(using AMAT's #'s) while the DJIA are trading at historic levels, yet growing at 1/3 the rate of AMAT. It's all in the call on the 10th(or is it the 11th??) Regards, Brian
