Mark, I checked the online uspto page and found the following patents under the name Mark C. Koz: 1994 Digital color TV for personal computers 1994 Adaptor between ISDN basic rate access and switched-56 access 1993 Apparatus and method for video pixel data transfer 1991 Digital color TV for personal computers (different from above) So he is for real, and these look impressive. This does not count patents that other employees at MPEG have, and he may have earlier patents that are not in the database. I look forward to your answers to tasks 1 and 3. Maybe Byron can talk to Koz about the connection with NUKO. Can someone get verification of this from the CEO of NUKO? Seems difficult. Task 5 is irrelevant after todays fall in price. Richard
