Oh yes thats for sure, remember the experts recommending and everyone eating margarine until they realized you could leave it in your garage for a year and it wouldnt go bad lol. On the other side one of our mechanical shops had a pail of PCB's in the corner and the guys washed their hands in it for years back in the 70's, cleaned them up and made their skin soft, all of a sudden it was treated like strictine. The issue is it doesnt break down in the environment which is why it worked so well for transformers.
