I normally don't chime in on this stuff but as for the VA... I wouldn't believe ANYTHING they say. Every cardiologist says you should be in plavix forever after a heart attack but the VA only gives it for the first year. The VA won't give Vitorin even if the single statins don't work but Vitorin from a civilian doctor does. They don't give Chantix and tons of other drugs that help patients. Us vets have a saying. They want us to all die so they don't have to deal with us anymore. If the VA says HCQ doesn't work, I would lean towards it meaning it probably cures everything including world hunger, cancer etc etc.
