One thing we should all realize: Greg, "Mr Smith", that lazer person, and all the other people who seem to want to attach Doug....I don't see ANY of them offering their own stock picks, I don't see ANY of them giving people constructive advise and analysis on any of the candidates people bring to the table (except that "the POW stocks stink!!!")
I think we should consider bring up this issue to the webmistress; this forum is to discuss stocks constructively, not attack & ridicule the members.
Critizing a stock pick based on FA or TA is certainly welcome here; critizing the person who brought up the stock is NOT!!!!!!!!!!
Doug & many others stick there necks out day in and day out -- yes, sometimes they will be wrong! But all they offer is their own opinions. They don't have guns pointed to anyone's head. If you don;t like Doug's picks, then don't buy them. If you have something to say about the stock either from a FA or a TA point of view on why you don't like it, then go ahead and say it. But DON'T think you are hot stuff by pointing out stocks that in the past haven't panned out, and then offer no technical or fundamental analysis as to why. Who are you helping by saying that? A 5 year old can tell me if a stock has gone up or down in 3 months. The past is the past and anyone who was in those stocks should have had a system of a hard or mental stop-loss and then moved on. That's how this game should be played.
Rarely will ANYONE be right over 50% of the time. The key to making money in stocks is NOT getting all your picks right, but CUTTING LOSSES when you are wrong!
If you can be disciplined in cutting losses, when you have winners, even if it is only 1/3 of the time, it will more than offset the losses.

Doug does not teach portfolio management, and that is certainly not his role. Doug has graciously shared with us a system that works FOR HIM. It may not work FOR YOU! There;s no free ride you know.
So, I'd just like to say to all the people who can't do anything but criticise individual people here to GROW UP!
Why don;t you put your money where your mouth and post one stock pick a week yourself?
