One email news/rumor service I subscribe to just ran a couple
of items on AVAL a little while ago. I don't know where this
person get's his info, but here's what he/she said:

'Caveat emptor, but I'm telling everyone I know that big things
are supposedly brewing at Avalon Group (AVAL), a little OTC-BB
company in the very hot health and wellness field. There was a
flurry of activity in the stock a few months ago, but the trading
completely dried up and the spread last week was a ridiculous .14
bid, .29 ask. Over the last couple of days, the bids have
steadily crept up, indicating that several people or entities are
attempting to accumulate it (with not much success thus far), and
it's now a respectable .21 bid, .26 ask. The public float is
tiny and trading is very thin, so any news could result in a
rapid price jump.
I am told that announcements of a major financing deal, followed
by an exciting acquisition, will be forthcoming within one week.
Take a look at some of their old releases and their website (I
think it's www.stayhealthy.com) to get an idea of their business.
If you're gutsy you can buy a little now, but definitely watch
for the first announcement and you'll have time to get in before
the second, even if the price is 10 or 15 cents higher at that
time. I expect a run to over $1.00, and maybe to the $2.00 area,
by the time all 3 news items have been released and disseminated.' |
