Honestly, what I believe doesn't matter. I'm not sure.

But a typical virus has a mass of < 1 x 10E-18 g, and that does not require droplets to stay in the air for a very long time, and it would not be surprising if virus in droplets falls much more quickly than airborne virus. Of course, there are many other variables.

But the alleged "tests" I've seen were silly -- like blowing out a candle through a mask. That's a totally different thing with no proved relationship.

I just think the science is an embarrassment and it has not been helpful because it has not been rigorous. And what has been, doesn't seem to really support the use of cloth masks by civilians on the street.

It isn't a coincidence that Fauci was opposing them early, and that a year ago -- before the virus, there was no real allegation that they helped.

Seems like doing the same things people were doing 100 years ago probably aren't as effective as other things we could do.
