Of course, there are many other variables. But the alleged "tests" I've seen were silly -- like blowing out a candle through a mask. That's a totally different thing with no proved relationship. I just think the science is an embarrassment and it has not been helpful because it has not been rigorous. And what has been, doesn't seem to really support the use of cloth masks by civilians on the street. It isn't a coincidence that Fauci was opposing them early, and that a year ago -- before the virus, there was no real allegation that they helped. Seems like doing the same things people were doing 100 years ago probably aren't as effective as other things we could do.
