No, but, as I have written many times, for me the saddest thing in the world is lost opportunity. The difference between those charts over three months is lost opportunity. It didn't have to go this way.



I think the point is to control it when moves higher and to let it run when it is lower, if the cost of letting it run is insanely high, as it is.

The point was to nip it in the bud. I say "was" because that opportunity was squandered. Letting it run when it is lower is a latter day version of encouraging the blooming of the bud.
