Interestingly here the provincial governments have been willing to turn on a dime when smoke appears (after being late admittedly to start), The Conservatives in Ontario and rather conservative CAC in Quebec have been pragmatic in the face of some sad truths.. and cooperation with the federal Liberals has been solid... cooperation with the muni governments has also been solid... I am not a fan of all the folks concerned.. but they have all been pulling oars in unison... and working for the entire electorate.. This has been little politicized up here.. I can ask for no more...

Our old folks homes have been largely brutally tragic .. worse than yours.. but I wonder if that might also be because more here have access ... (pure speculation on my part... ) still no reason for our numbers wrt those institutions.. a travesty... I think it will force a hard look at healthcare also.. for the better.. ..

and again if smoke arises.. directions will change rapidly.. Home depot etc.. were essential services initially,,, not as things got worse.. they closed them, Rona, Canadian Tires etc etc.. Walmart stayed alive due to grocery...
