My understanding (Yahoo posting) is that the company asked for the trading halt so that everyone would get the news at the same time. This seems fair but one more reason why I am glad I am out even though the odds are that they will get approval and the stock will rocket up. This stock is very illiquid anyway so stopping the trading is just one more degree of this. I can understand why the company did it but it makes one nervous to be in stocks if this can happen.

When they applied the first time, there were rumors pro and con all day as people walked in and out of the meeting. The news early on was negative but the company remained confident and all of this was being reported to me by my broker hour by hour. I think the company didn't want a repeat of this...so again I can understand it.

What is very intriquing is the move to the upside by CYTC. They had news yesterday but that was pretty much old news. Is this move tied to NeoPath and if so what does it mean. Maybe ACMI is moving also partly tied to NeoPath....you will recall I thought that good news for NeoPath would be good news for the Sector. NSIX is not participating in the move up.

At 5:30 pm I assume we will all know what is happening to NeoPath.
