>>I rember your night octapuss dive. I have started making more night dives and really like them. I've done some dumb stuff... Like some deep dives 120ft alone. I just keep a real close eye on myself and whats going on around me. I don't cary a spare air but I think ill start especally if I keep doing deep solo dives. I think being a pilot gives me more confidence to do stuff alone. Heck a lot more can go wrong with a airpline than scuba equipment..But all the same I think I should give myself a long talk about deep dives alone.<<

Robert -

I believe you're thinking about my night dive w/octopus.

I have to say that there may be more different things that can go wrong with a plane, but the few things that can go wrong with scuba gear can all kill you, especially when you're below 60 to 70 feet. Moreover, the gear isn't the only variable with scuba diving. There are some fairly big animals down there, and even some small ones that can get you.

Solo diving is not a good idea. Even the most experienced divers, for the most part, do not do it. Please don't dive alone. Scuba buddies are pretty easy to find everywhere.
