Well that is the exact point I made in my second post on this subject:

In this case, our "benevolent government" has agreed to pay 100% of whatever someone wants to charge for a COVID test. No one is questioning the outrageous procedure charge.
Of course that is really easy with our own tax dollars........

I was questioning WHY?

Just like why are we paying an extra $600 per week for people to stay home.

I know, there is no logical answer.........
