On the McCloskey case sez St. Louis Police Chief John Hayden:

“The hostility is what I noticed,” Hayden said. “I don’t want to see guns out when people are very hostile and angry at each other. Those are recipes for violence, so again we applied on warrant, there’s been follow up information and we are waiting on the decision on the warrant application.

This nutjob opinion goes directly against the "castle doctrine" that holds sway in Missouri. Hayden's opinion is irrelevant as are the leftists above him. If the St. Louis police force wasn't tracking that mob, then Hayden was derelict in his duty. Citizens have no choice but to do as McCloskey did.

That McCloskey's AR-15 was inoperable will be a further impediment to any conviction. McCloskey probably had removed the firing pin - he's smarter than any of these St. Louis leftists.
