Just testing current market responses... I've been placing orders to buy at the market, no restrictions, at different periods over several trading sessions but never less than 1,000 share orders to buy. It's a thin issue but I've only gotten 1 fill out of 5 tests. So there is some demand coming to the floor, but no sellers to speak of. That is pretty interesting, especially since there are usually several limits to buy hanging around. It also implies that any asks to sell are probably 'all-or-none'. (For what it's worth department.)
