Hopefully, we won't have to pay too dearly if they miss that one, but beat the street handily... There are some advantages to having the whisper lower. I mean, with the stock price action coming into earnings, you'd think the whisper was 0.00 or something less. Remeber when the lasers were "bulbs" and there were vibration problems and gas leaks and new competitors and silica supply problems and cancelled orders and Asia's first crises, and diode lasers and ... and the stock was at 25 and they had just beaten those earnings, last quarter? (And most of the concerns proved untrue?) Not even the most optimistic guess puts the share price up that high. Man, everything but California curling up and dropping into the ocean is currently priced into this stock.
