Even President Obama says the filibuster has to go. It violates the Constitution. The Constitution says the VP breaks all tie votes which would be 50-50, but republicans used the filibuster to stop everything when President Obama was trying to fix the Great Recession so they insisted on 60 votes for everything.

Republicans were so evil they wouldn't allow President Obama to seat even one judge so Harry Reid used the "nuclear option" which put it back to 50-50 (the Constitution) so we could get some judges seated.

The filibuster required a person to continue debating around the clock and it ended when he couldn't talk anymore. In other words, it always ended. But, even that was stopped by republicans. They didn't have to speak for even one minute. Republican voters are too corrupt to vote. It's that simple.
