Lincoln was another criminal. He hired men to buy votes in Congress. He wouldn't do it himself because that would look unseemly.He was also a great president but his Civil War wasn't about ending slavery, it was about keeping the country together or basically undoing the mistakes of our founders when they put slavery into the Constitution. If Lincoln went to war to stop slavery I'd consider him the best president but that's not what happened. I'm not so sure it was good to keep the South. They are a pain in the ass and they can't stop hating others. They can't grow for some reason. It's almost impossible for Democrats to win in the South because it's so damn corrupt.
