| | | The silent majority is starting to speak out. I think the tipping point may have been reached. Also, I want to tell you something. I was at the local sporting goods store at my country house and I noticed something strange as I walked past the guns and ammo section. First off, it was crowded. Second, there were very few guns left in the shelving. So I walked around the corner and saw the ammo shelves were pretty much cleaned out. So I went back and asked the clerk when they'd get more in stock. He said they get shipments in every morning and to come around at 10am when they put it on the floor, but he said that I probably wouldn't get any because they get cleaned out within 5-10 mins. Curious and frankly bored, because as a retired guy I have some time on my hands, I went back the next morning and showed up at the appointed time. Sure enough, there were people running to the ammo and cleaned them out within 10 mins. Here's another thing. It was black and white folks both. So then I went home and did some research. Did you know that ammo and gun sales have tripled in some areas of the country from this time last year?
My conclusion, you might ask? People are scared. The message has been sent loud and clear by the Democrats that they will support rioting, looting, and violence against white people, and they will try to prosecute and harass people who pull out guns to defend themselves (see McCloskeys). The Democrats have also made it clear they will ask Police to stand down and harangue Trump and call him a Dictator when he sends in Federal Troops, even as they refuse to call in the national guard and vilify their own police forces. So what do the citizens do in their fear? They rightly conclude that the police will not come if they get in trouble. So they are arming themselves at a rate unheard of in many, many years.
One last note. I have a dear friend who is Democrat. She's probably the most liberal lady I know and teaches at the local university in the bigger city where I have one of my homes. I'm old enough to still have Democrat friends, because in my time we were Americans first and political leanings came second. Anyway, so I called her up and told her about my observations. You know what she told me? She said that she and her husband had bought a couple pistols and were taking lessons at the local shooting range. I asked why and she said she was scared. She's a tough old broad despite being a liberal and part of the problem in excusing the bad behavior of her compatriots, but I can see this lawlessness has rattled her. So the facade is starting to fail and she can see through it a bit more clearly. Not being one to be overly nice in situations like this, I said to her, "I told you so. These movements eventually eat their own. I'm glad you are seeing this for what it is now."
Houston, we have a problem. When hyper liberals are arming themselves because they are scared, you know the Democrats are starting to lose their base. I doubt she'll ever vote for Trump, but will she continue to support the Communists? I'm not so sure. The older Democrats don't like what they are seeing in this new crop of Communist Democrat Millennials and Gen Zers.
Check out this tweet thread. Read down through the thread a bit....Is this a tipping point? If so, then Democrats will be unenthusiastic about Biden, and President Trump is going to win and then we may see a true widespread revolution by the Communists as they lose their shit in November, refusing to accept another 4 years of Trump.
