No link to the CDC web site that supposedly produced this graph. All that lady provided was a screenshot.

I went to the CDC web site itself and confirmed the numbers, but I also saw this:

cdc.gov

Why These Numbers are Different

Provisional death counts may not match counts from other sources, such as media reports or numbers from county health departments. Counts by NCHS often track 1–2 weeks behind other data.

Furthermore, the Trump administration just told every government agency out there to stop reporting to the CDC and instead report to the Department of Health and Human Services, so there's no word on whether the latest data on the CDC web site is even accurate:

Personally, I still rely on this web site:

It shows an uptick in daily deaths over the past two weeks:



AFAIK this is the most reliable source of COVID-19 statistics. I have it open all the time.
