I'm reminded that when we became a new country we kept all the patents from Britain. We have this noble idea that we don't steal but of course we took everything we could get our hands on. It didn't take long for us to improve on the steam engine but still, it wasn't our invention and we never paid for it. We took it. Then we took freedom away from Native Americans because we're the land of the free as we enslaved another race because we believe all men are created equal. I like how republicans romanticize our history. I deal with the facts and move on. They have no idea how silly they sound.
