I own this company at about 15. It has not had revenue growth over the past year and margins decreased because of expansion in manufacturing space and trying to correct sales sluggishness by improving sales force. One could compare this company to SANM which is in similar backplane business but it much more aggressive and is partnering with many of the best and fastest growing customers and is keeping their net margins also at 10 % greater than ALRN. But SANM sells at considerably higher valuations although they have come down recently. But I bought ALRN thinking it could resume growth and was in a growth area and conservatively run with good balance sheet. Unfortunatetly it has been a little to conservative and is simply not growing like it should. But I am still hanging in there.
