PLAT recommended by SoundView. NEW YORK, Jan 26 (Reuters) - SoundView Financial Group Inc said on Monday strategist James Townsend recommended investors soverweight the technology sector and added shares of Platinum Technology Inc (PLAT - news) -- Much has been written by Tech about my posting a buy signal on PLAT at $28 in Dec, afterwhich it fell to $23... Now here it is back at $28. I still have this stock on my buy list, and now SoundView backs that opinion. My target is $40. -Kevin
