Scary day re TSLA, for had I not been decisive and early would have ended up a horrible day, but as it was, profitable trading day even as the inventory of shares held went down a bit. Overall good due to sizing - shares held to Call options traded around 1 to 5 to 1 to 2, depending on expiration.

Unsure of what be immediately ahead for TSLA and so went inventory-lite, w/o overnight open option positions. Only what inventory was bought yesterday, and should have opportunity to write calls when opportune, due precisely to volatility. The market is nearing need to plunge-protection.

However, am not at all sure what TSLA would do tomorrow, option expiration day, because the issue appears to be more about the general market and less to do w/ TSLA. If I have to guess, I guess tomorrow to be a down day due to market-wide issues.

Gold still good. Gold shares not reacting, appearing topped out in the interim. Gold shares have not decoupled / untethered from general equities market. Sold paper gold at profit, and closed out all HMY positions also at profit.
