Maxwell is Trump’s old pal so I’m not in the least surprised he wishes her well. After all, the only “thingy” she did was run a child sex trafficking operation together with Trump’s other former pal, Jeffrey Epstein.

Here’s the exchange with the reporter who asked the question:
REPORTER: “Uhm…Ghislaine Maxwell is in prison and a lot of people wanna know if she’s gonna turn in powerful people. I know you talked in the past about Prince Andrew, and you criticised Bill Clinton’s behavior. I’m wondering, do you feel that she’s gonna turn in powerful men, how do you see that working out?”
TRUMP: “I don't know, I haven't really been following it too much. I just wish her well, frankly. I've met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach and I guess they lived in Palm Beach. But I wish her well, whatever it is. I don’t know the situation with Prince Andrew. Just don’t know. Not aware of it.”
Offering well wishes to someone who was charged for sex trafficking is a new tone of sorts, except if he meant it in a Bon Voyage-kinda way. Either way, this is beyond deplorable (or is Trump concerned she’ll spill the beans on him?).
The other three people Trump has publicly extended his best wishes to who were charged with federal crimes by the DOJ were Roger Stone, Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort — and now Ghislaine Maxwell. Is there another pardon coming up?
And, where the hell is QAnon when there’s a real pedophile ring to be exposed? But hey, at least she didn't operate a pizza place without a basement in Washington, D.C., am I right?
So, to conclude: Donald Trump spat on John Lewis when he was alive and just wished Ghislaine Maxwell well. This makes perfect sense since John Lewis never helped anyone find children to rape… so it’s clear that Trump has no idea what to make of the Epstein-Maxwell mess, and that he’s concerned about where it might be headed. |
