No matter what Trump ever does or doesn’t do, many of the people inclined to vote for him will make an excuse for it. It’s uncanny. They’re like parents of a deeply troubled child, insisting “Donny’s a good boy, just a little different,” even as he sets the dog on fire.

He has a lot of codependents and enablers. It's sad that no one has ever held him responsible for his behavior. He is a classic example of how not to raise a child.
