Ok, but what I'm wondering is whether I hire a professional team to install the wireless mesh system, or ask the cable / internet provider to do it for a fee, or whether this is usually a "do it yourself" project?

Are there companies that will come into a home, and do wiring such that there is coverage all over the home rather than just via the modem next to the outlet, and as long as it can reach?
