Been a fan of hers for a long time. Read her book, Culture Of Corruption (about Obama) before the 2008 election. Time has proved what a great book it is.

Article you posted is as good a summation I've seen about, as she aptly put it, "...end stage America".

As you probably know, been posting about how & why empires decline, on my thread, since late December 2007. Long list of well written books in historical literature. Similarities are remarkable when we look at dozens of important empires, in all periods, on all continents. Human nature, whether in group or individual behavior, doesn't change.
