Hi Paul, Re: Intel is Storming Into the Lead in sub $1000 PCs Sure seems that way. If memory serves, a couple of month ago Intel announced that it will address the sub-1000 market with cacheless PII's, due out in the 4th quarter of 1998. However, according to one of your earlier posts today, the CNET link says Covington (cacheless PII) is due in APRIL!! This is really good news towards pulling the sub1K market towards slot 1, fast. On a slightly separate subject, how do you think Intel's networking announcement on Feb 24th will affect COMS? Shahen Petrosian.
