ETrade has good margin rates, and 35% margin hold on MOST marginable issues. Their margin interest rates are reasonable in comparison to others as well if you you borrow more than 25K (or is it 50K??). This is about the only good thing I can say about ETrade. Executions have been much quicker lately, but they still suck when it comes to filling between the spread.
