I was talking to my wife this morning about this topic. I also think the odds favor President Trump. He's always had my vote, but after the lawlessness and bald-faced Communism we've seen, I am not just voting myself, but I'm advocating to every centrist and conservative I know that they need to vote for Trump like their lives depend on it, because it does. So you could call me a voter with fire in the belly now. So I think he has a good chance. But let's game this out.
If Trump wins, the Communists will go full on nuts. I believe we'll have a civil war...a shooting war. Already, Americans on the left and right are getting armed to the teeth and the police have been stood down. So things are going to explode. The Communists will not accept a Trump re-election. So go to your country house and make sure you are well armed, because when they come for you, the police will not be able to protect you. Trump will use the Feds and the conservative Governors will use the National Guard, but between the hammer and the anvil, the ordinary people like you and me will get the full brunt of the opposing forces.
Now, if the unthinkable happens and Biden wins, then he will usher in a preternatural calm. COVID will miraculously disappear. Riots will go away. The Communists will do their victory lap and tell us things are peaceful because Trump was causing all the rancor. Then the laws they will pass will come fast and furious and the unmaking of America will begin in earnest. Within 6 months, we will be stripped of most rights, including the right to bear arms and defend ourselves. Wealth taxes will strip you of the earnings from your portfolio to live in retirement. Freedom of speech will be deader than a doornail. And then people like Kamala will come for us. We'll be harassed by every government agency, including the IRS. If you own more than one home, they will force you to sell them, because you don't need more than one. If you speak out against injustice, you will be silenced and charge with non-crime crimes, like the McCloskeys were. The spending bills will be so large as to make the last few months seem like a dress rehearsal and the dollar will fall precipitously, as will the stock market.
Only gold will hold its value. Speaking of which, my gold and silver holdings are up 12.5% in the last week alone. The next 4 months are going to be the icing on the cake for the year 2020, a year that will live in infamy for the USA. I hope history won't write the story of the end of the USA this year. |
