Wharfie, I got tested last Friday. Results won't be back for seven days. Kind of defeats the purpose of testing if the answers come back so late. Here in California, many testing sites won't even test you unless you're showing symptoms. There are drive-thru testing places, which is where I got my test, but I had to wait two hours starting at 8:30 AM, and people who showed up after me had to wait 3-5 hours. This is unacceptable. COVID-19 is a game of numbers, and the very least we can do is wear masks, socially distance, and test like crazy. Even here in California, we can't get our testing infrastructure up even after four months of preparation. I know Gov. Newsom tried hard, but the state bureaucracy here is horribly inefficient. Korea has amazingly efficient testing sites with next-day results. Why can't we? I Googled but I could not find any article talking about how the Korean bureaucracy worked to set up the infrastructure. Meanwhile, in America we're STILL arguing over face masks and HCQ. And whether BLM protesters are immune to COVID-19. This is just plain stupidity. Tenchusatsu INB4 "Move to Korea you ungrateful jerk you ..."
