Back on September 11 I shared a meal and dialogue w/ a friend of my mom who is a three-comma multi-billionaire borne of the casino sector. The gentleman, in his 80s, asked me whether (i) he should sell a particular building and (ii) put the cash into platinum or (iii) gold, or (iv) what else.
I did not waffle, said if I were him, and I am not, I would sell the building and go w/ physical gold and 0388.HK finance.yahoo.com shares. I also pointed him to a good Chinese medicine doctor who is particularly good at building up body immune system.
The next day I received a note from him here below appended. My mom told me subsequently that the gentleman did as I advised, sold building and bought physical gold.
I just got a call from him, a thank-you by voice, re the building, the gold, 0388, and doctor. He found out from my mom that I was not in HK and could not gather.
The September 2019 note, roughly translated, but the original in highly educated almost classical formal Chinese language - “One conversation with you is better than 10-years of education. You have answered my question w/r to HK’s future. I appreciate your sincerity, knowledge, and astuteness. My good fortune to know your mother and yourself ... “ etc etc.
No, I am not embarrassed. Another faithful recruited, in answer to call of duty, to save souls. I pat self on shoulder - for duty nicely done :0)
