Wow! Just caught up with the conference call, and I have never heard Pete Kight so stoked up.

--Margins are better than expected
--Billers are singing up faster than expected
--CKFR is "EXTENDING our lead."
--"strategic position" is better than expected a year ago
--MSDFC's business plan is "fatally flawed" and will have to change in the next 12-18 months. (Billers don't like "closed" system and won't pay 100% of the cost)

Lots of new cusomters coming on line soon as old Visa Interactive banks come on with CKFR platform, and as second-tier banks come on line with their electronic banking products.

A tidbit I hadn't heard before: Kight said MSFDC is courting Citibank (which has its own, proprietary PC banking and billpay) to form a "three-way partnership." Kight seemed almost eager for that to happen. Imagine what the CKFR salesmen would be telling potential bank customers: "Do you want to turn over all your customers to Citibank?" I just don't think Bill Gates gets it.

I think 1998 will be a very good year for CKFR stockholders!
