04:31 PM EDT, 07/28/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Seagate Technology(STX) was falling in Tuesday's late session after the data-storage company reported non-GAAP net income of $1.20 per share for its Q4 ended July 3 on $2.52 billion in revenue compared with the Capital IQ consensus expecting a $1.30 per share adjusted profit and $2.62 billion in revenue.

The company earned $0.95 per share during the same quarter last year, excluding one-time items, on $2.37 billion in revenue.

Looking forward, the company is projecting adjusted Q1 net income in a range of $0.70 to $1.00 per share on between $2.1 billion to $2.5 billion in revenue. The Street is at $1.27 per share and $2.59 billion, respectively.

The company Tuesday night declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.65 per share, unchanged from its most recent distribution and payable on Oct. 7, to shareholders of record on Sept. 23.
