Paul, Umax systems come with Iomega Zip drives as a STANDARD
(internal ATAPI) in all their systems. Funny they don't mention
it in their listing until you look at the specifications. They
apparently cater to the graphics intensive crowd and if you don't
want a Zip you can get a Jaz or Ditto drive instead (also Iomega).
They also include Adobe software packages bundled as standard.

I'm currently shopping for a PentiumII based system to migrate to.
Have done all my stuff on Macs for last few years and am wondering
how to bring over files especially MacDrawPro files. Got about
$2K to spend. You, anyone can suggest good configuration/vendor?

Really pleased that Intel and Techs are finally rolling again.
I think the pent up bonus and pension funds are now being put to work
after the worse of the Asia scare has subsided.

The relative performance of the .25 micron P-IIs vs. .35 micron P-IIs
is quite impressive. AMD K6 and the Cytrix version will be CPU trash
by the April price reductions. Then DOJ could be a problem.

Regards, David S.
Long on Intel and Iomega
