City threatens fines for Chicagoans who don’t self-quarantine upon return from Wisconsin. Up north, concerns are few: ‘I don’t think people are going to listen to it.’
Lightfoot’s administration on Tuesday officially added Wisconsin to the list of states considered risky enough because of the growth rate of COVID-19 cases to require self-quarantine once back in the city.

That means starting this Friday, anyone who has spent more than 24 hours in Wisconsin should stay inside for two weeks upon getting to Chicago, or risk a fine of $100 to $500 per day for violating city statute.
