They opened up too quickly. And didn't even really shut down completely. That is what was needed--shut down completely for two to three months, then come up very slowly.

It's an incredibly hard thing to do in this world. Even European countries are coming back a little too quickly. And the truth is, in this interconnected world, literally everyone must do this or it won't work. This virus is a sneaky devil that can transmit even from people who are asymptomatic. New Zealand defeated it and requires everyone coming into the country to be quarantined. I am pretty sure that it doesn't matter if they test positive or not. They are taking no chances.

Frankly, that is the right attitude and the right policy.
