Funny you should mention the crasher of phone systems. I was involved with the blocking of those 'blue/black' boxes back in the 60's/70's! You want to talk about a 'crash' project! We had to 'crank' a couple man-hours into that one! As for crashing the system, nothing does it like a 'snow-storm' or 'earthquake'! There is only so much 'real-time', like 3600 seconds per hour! When you try to do 4000 seconds of 'real-time' processing, the system will definately puke! How gracefully it 'dies' and 'recovers' takes much time to program! Especially if the 'load' is not 'backing off'! I'll tell you this, I DON'T MISS THE STRESS! Yes, too late on Netscape browser, and it never would have happened at all without this deal w/MS!
