I have older 30 pin connector iPods.

There's a 1/4" stereo jack on the front of that receiver? I will check that out tomorrow, that sounds like a good quick fix until I can replace the receiver with a newer version. In fact, if it works that may make replacement not necessary. I don't mind loading up my old iPods and playing them over that receiver if it's as easy as plug 'n play.
